Isaac is now 8 months old. I cannot believe 8 months have passed by so fast. I truly believe this has been the fastest time in my life. It seemed like Kaylee was a baby for so long. I blinked and Isaac is starting to crawl! Life needs to slow down......
Isaac is more adorable every day! He is still the sweetest little love bug. Isaac is very happy and content almost all of the time. He truly is such a "routine" kid. He likes to be fed, take naps, have play time and go to bed on schedule. When things are out of whack, he is not happy. Kaylee was, and still is, my "go with the flow" kid... Isaac is the total opposite. He likes to be in bed around 7:00 each night and wakes up around 6:30 the next morning. He also likes to be put in bed awake. (Again - total opposite of his sister!) I am still in shock how well he sleeps! :)
Our little man is FINALLY eating well! He eats oatmeal and all of the stage 2 fruits and vegetables. We had the hardest time getting him to eat. He seemed to have major issues with texture and had a terrible gaging reflex until he was around 6 1/2 months old. After that time, we were able to get him to eat oatmeal and vegetables, but no fruit. Just in the past few weeks has he finally warmed up to fruits.
Isaac is becoming more and more active. He sits up really well now. He loves to stand up on our laps and then jumps up and down. Isaac has also become a master at army crawling. He is very efficient at it too! He also babbles a lot! He says, "dada" all.the.time....... And you know who loves that! :)
Kaylee is an amazing big sister. She loves to help care for him, feed him and play with him. She will get down on the floor and crawl around with him. He gets a kick out of her following him around. They are so adorable together.
